PM Modi Inaugurates Noida International Airport, Promises To Increase Employment Opportunities
Noida/Hyderabad, Mar 28 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the new international airport in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, which is the most prestigious and advanced in the country. He said that this airport will benefit farmers and traders and provide employment opportunities to the youth. UP CM Aditya Yoginath, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and guests participated in this program. This airport has been built in Jewar, Noida.
Modi spoke on the occasion of its inauguration. “This airport is a testament to the Indian spirit. It will contribute to economic growth in UP. The nearby areas will also develop. It will bring more opportunities to farmers and youth in the western region of UP. Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bulandshahr regions will benefit. A plane will fly from this airport every two minutes. You can reach the whole world,” Modi commented. Only Phase 1 of this airport has started now.
It will be useful for increasing global connectivity. Rs. 11,200 crore has been spent for this. It can be called a multi-modal hub airport. It will be useful for both passengers and cargo services. It was built to handle 12 million passengers per year. That is, 1 crore 20 lakh passengers.
A high-tech navigation system has been installed in it. There is a 3,900-meter runway here. Along with international connectivity, regional connectivity will also increase. It will provide services along with the already nearby Delhi International Airport. Flight services will start from here in 45 days. Initially, only regional flights will be operated. International flights will be operated from the end of this year. Since domestic services will be operated soon, companies like IndiGo, Akasha Air, Air India Express will operate flights first. Flights to ten major cities of the country will start from here. (Maxim News)
