PM Modi Launches Grameen Bharat Mahotsav- 2025
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rural India Festival – 2025 (Grameen Bharat Mahotsav-2025) in Delhi today.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that since 2014, we have been serving the people of the village and the theme of this festival is to create an inclusive rural India for a developed India 2047. It is aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage of rural India. The Rural India Mahotsav was held from January 4 to January 9.

Prime Minister Modi extended his greetings to everyone for the year 2025. He said that this grand event of the Grameen Bharat Mahotsav at the beginning of 2025 is introducing India’s development journey and creating an identity. He congratulated NABARD and other partners for organizing this event. PM Modi said that clean drinking water is now reaching every household in lakhs of villages. Today, people are getting better options for more than 1.5 lakh Ayushman health services.
With the help of digital technology, we have connected the best doctors and hospitals in the country to the villages. Many have benefited from telemedicine. Crores of people in rural areas have taken advantage of telemedicine through eSanjeevani. The world is wondering how Indian villages are coping with this epidemic during COVID-19. But we have distributed vaccines to the last person in every village. PM Modi reminded that to strengthen the rural economy, economic policies need to be formulated keeping in mind every section of the village.

The festival celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage of rural India. The Mahotsav will host various workshops aimed at enhancing rural infrastructure, building a self-reliant economy, and promoting innovation in the rural community. It will also encourage discussions on using technology and innovative methods to improve rural livelihoods. It will bring together government officials, think tanks, rural entrepreneurs, artists, and stakeholders from various sectors to plan for collaborative and collective rural transformation. The government also aims to adopt sustainable agricultural practices and empower rural women through entrepreneurship. (Maxim News)
