New Delhi, August 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Khelo India Dialogue on August 27 at 11 am through video conferencing.
The programme will connect youth with India’s sporting journey and national development goals. It will also give young people a platform to share their ideas and aspirations.
Khelo India Dialogue to Focus on Youth and Sports
Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), the Khelo India Dialogue will be held across the country.
The programme is part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations. Youth from two colleges in every district will participate across states and Union Territories.
The initiative aims to promote fitness, discipline and sports participation among young people. It will also place youth aspirations at the centre of the development agenda.
The Khelo India Dialogue will bring sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering and nation building together.
Young participants will interact with athletes, medal winners, local sportspersons and public representatives. MY Bharat volunteers will also participate in local interactions following the national programme.
A key feature will be Yuva Samvaad, where participants can present their ideas and views. The discussions will focus on five major themes.
These include improving sports facilities, coaching, sports science and inclusive participation. Another focus will be identifying and developing talent for the 2036 Olympics.
The programme will also discuss youth leadership through governance platforms and volunteering. It will promote future ready skills, civic responsibility and structured volunteering.
The final theme will focus on building a Nasha Mukt Yuva movement through sports and peer networks. The campaign will also support weekly Jan Bhagidari activities under the Prime Minister’s 100 week nationwide campaign launched on August 2, 2026.
