PM Modi To Visit Andhra Pradesh On January 8

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh has been finalized for January 8, during which he will tour the Uttarandhra region.

The visit will include the foundation stone-laying ceremonies for several key projects, amounting to an investment of approximately ₹85,000 crore.

These projects include the NTPC-APGENCO Green Hydrogen Hub in Pudimadaka, Anakapalli district, and the Mittal Steel Plant in Nakkapalli.

The development is expected to generate direct employment for 25,000 individuals and indirectly benefit an additional 40,000 people.

Initially, these events were scheduled for November, but the visit was postponed twice due to cyclonic conditions.

The original schedule, set for November 29, had to be deferred, making this the third attempt to finalize the Prime Minister’s visit.

This will be Prime Minister Modi’s first participation in an official event since the coalition government was formed.

The state administration is making extensive arrangements, overseen by Minister Nara Lokesh and MP CM Ramesh.

The January 8 program will also feature Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and several central and state ministers alongside the Prime Minister.
