Police arrested Raj Kumar on May 26 and sent him to judicial remand. He subsequently secured bail and returned to the village. After his release, he allegedly committed the murders in an act of revenge against those who had filed the case against him.

His parents immediately informed the police. Officers reached the scene based on this information. Police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation. The accused’s condition at the time of this report was not confirmed in official communications.

Moreover, the case raises serious questions about bail in POCSO matters involving serious sexual offences against minors.

Under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, offences carry stringent penalties. However, bail remains a legal possibility under certain conditions. This incident is likely to draw attention to the safety of complainants and witnesses after the accused is released on bail.
