Police Apprehended One Person For Illegal Possession Of Country Made Weapon

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (Maxim News):  On a credible information, Special Crime Team, CCS, DD Hyderabad along with Hussaini Alam Police apprehended (01) accused person Amjad Khan sonof Habeeb age 29 years, Occu: Business at Charminar (Saudi return) Resident of Khilwath, Hussainialam  who were in illegal possession of country made weapon i.e Pistol (0.7 mm).which has been seized along with cell phone,

According to G. Venkateswar Reddy, ACP, Special Crime Team, CCS, Hyderabad, the Accused person is native of Hyderabad who returned after working in Saudi Arabia and now has been doing business at Charminar. Ten months ago, accused Amjad Khan purchased country made weapon (a 0.7 mm Pistol) from one person by name Avinash @ Kallu, a resident of Madhya Pradesh through another mediator by name Amith, a resident of BHEL, Hyd and native of Madhya Pradesh for an amount of Rs. 80,000/- and kept such weapon in his possession. Amjad Khan kept Pistol in his possession to threaten the general public by showing weapons. 

 Accused person A-1 was apprehended, remaining accused Avinash & Amith were absconding. The above apprehension was made by Sri. D. Bikshapathi, Inspector of Police, Special Crime Team along with his staff under the supervision of Sri. G. Venkateswar Reddy, ACP, Special Crime Team, CCS, Hyderabad along with Hussaini Alam Police.
