Police Bust Rave Party in Kondapur, Nine People Arrested
Hyderabad, July 27, 2025: In a major crackdown, Hyderabad police have busted a high-profile rave party taking place in a luxury service apartment in Kondapur, leading to the arrest of nine individuals involved in drug abuse, indecent dancing, and illegal gathering. The raid also uncovered a significant stash of narcotics, liquor bottles, and high-end vehicles, signaling the extent of the organized operation.
According to police sources, the party was allegedly organized by Naidu alias Vasu and Shivam Rayudu from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The duo, along with their associates, reportedly operated a network that regularly brought partygoers—referred to locally as “Jalsa Rayuls”—from AP to Hyderabad, especially over weekends, to host illicit rave parties in upscale residential spaces.
Drugs, Women, and Indecent Acts
During the raid, law enforcement officials led by SI Sandhya Balaraju seized:
- 2.08 kg of ganja
- 50 grams of OG Kush
- 11.57 grams of magic mushrooms
- 1.91 grams of hashish
- 11 mobile phones
- 4 luxury cars
The party also featured indecent semi-nude dance performances involving young women, raising serious concerns about human trafficking, drug abuse, and moral offenses. Authorities believe that the event was part of a well-orchestrated party racket, funded by individuals seeking high-end, illegal recreational experiences.
Accused Identified
The following individuals were arrested during the bust:
- Praveen Kumar
- Ashok Kumar
- Sammela Saikrishna
- Joseph
- Thota Kumaraswamy
- Adapa Yashwant Sri Dutt
- Nanda
- Samatha Teja
- Rahul, also known as “King Can Share” – alleged to be a drug dealer
Three additional suspects have been booked and are currently under investigation.
Police Action and Ongoing Probe
Following the raid, the Serilingampally Excise Police took custody of the arrested individuals for further questioning. SI Sandhya Balaraju emphasized that more arrests could follow as authorities dig deeper into the syndicate, which is suspected of targeting affluent youth for weekend drug-fueled entertainment.
“We acted swiftly based on reliable intelligence. The gang has been using service apartments as safe zones to avoid detection, but now their operations are exposed,” said SI Sandhya Balaraju.
Public Caution and Legal Action
The police have urged the public, especially the youth, to refrain from participating in such illegal gatherings and to report suspicious activities. The accused now face multiple charges under the NDPS Act, Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act, and other relevant sections of the IPC.
As Hyderabad continues to modernize and attract weekend tourism, law enforcement agencies are on high alert to curb the rise in drug-related crimes and illegal party culture that threatens public safety.
