It is known that the Banjara Hills police had previously registered a case against the BRS MLA for obstructing police duties. In this case, the police have named Kaushik Reddy and 20 of his followers as accused.  Kaushik Reddy got into an argument with the CI when he came to complain that CM Revanth Reddy and IG Shivdhar Reddy were tapping his phone. Kaushik Reddy was arrested by the police on December 6 in this case.

When Kaushik Reddy was arrested and produced before the court, the court immediately granted him bail.  However, the Masab Tank Police have served notices to him to appear in person again on the 27th of this month.  He was ordered to appear before the Masab Tank police.  Based on the complaint filed by Banjara Hills Inspector Raghavendra, the Masabtank police registered a case against MLA Kaushik Reddy and ordered him to appear for questioning.  (Maxim News)
