Police Nabs Two On Charges Of Cheating
Hyderabad, Nov 16 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Cyber Crime police arrested two persons on charges of cheating job aspirants with promises of online part-time jobs.

The arrested persons are Krishna Babnrao Pawar (43) and Ramakant Jivan Dhanawate (30) both from Kopargaon in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.
According to the police, Krishna Babnrao Pawar and Ramakant Jivan colluded with other cyber fraudsters and sent messages from Telegram ID offering part-time jobs and insisting victims follow their instructions and get registered on their website with a user ID and password and made victims create an institutional account in the website. Victims initially invested smaller amounts and got returns. Later, they made people invest huge sums and went absconding.

“These fraudsters displayed profits on the website platform domain but they did not allow victims to withdraw the funds invested by them. They are involved in 140 cases all over India, including 9 cases in Telangana, said D. Kavitha, DCP. Cybercrime. On realizing being cheated, victims approached the police.

Citizens are cautioned not to believe fraudulent phone calls and impersonating persons in online websites and also not to invest in unauthorized websites/domains or through any other means, that lures on the guise of high returns by investing small amounts by sitting at home.
