An educational fair ‘Job Connect Mela’ was organized by the East Zone police on Saturday at the Osmania University campus.
Around 650 job aspirants from the city attended the program where about 30 companies offering various jobs depending upon the qualification of the candidates, participated.
Hyderabad Commissioner Anjani Kumar inaugurated the programme held at the campus. He said the companies are offering good salary for the deserving candidates and urged the job aspirants to utilise the opportunity of the city police.
“So far about 8,000 candidates have bagged jobs in various companies through the Job Connect programme being conducted for last three years. The TMI group in collaboration with the Hyderabad Police are organizing the program,” he said.
The city police are regularly conducting job fairs across the city for every three to four months in every zone, he added.
