Prabhas completes 20 years in the film industry
Prabhas, the ‘Darling’ of the Telugu film industry, has completed 20 years in the industry. On this day twenty years ago, Rebel Star Krishnam Raju clapped for the actor’s first shot. Prabhas made his acting debut in 2002 with ‘Eeswar,’ and has since appeared in films such as ‘Varsham,’ ‘Chatrapathi,’ ‘Bujjigadu,’ ‘Billa,’ ‘Darling,’ ‘Mr. Perfect,’ and ‘Mirchi.’
After playing the titular character in director SS Rajamouli’s epic ‘Baahubali’ franchise, the 42-year-old actor received national recognition and the title ‘pan-India star.’ ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ is the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time, grossing over Rs 1,000 crore in all languages in just ten days.
Despite the fact that his most recent film, ‘Radhe Shyam,’ bombed at the box office, he is looking forward to large-scale projects such as Prashanth-‘Salaar,’ Neel’s Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush,’ and Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K.’ In addition to being one of the highest-paid Indian actors, he has received numerous film awards, including the Nandi Award. He has also been named one of the ’10 Sexiest Asian Men,’ and he has a sizable female fan base.
Prabhas’ fans not only congratulated him on social media, but his fans from Srikakulam even distributed food in a government hospital on the occasion. “20 years since our Rebel Star #Prabhas entered the film industry.” A fan tweeted, “20 Golden Years for DhoolPet #Eshwar. #20GloriousYearsForRebelStarPrabhas (sic).
