Praneeth Rao Bail Petition Adjourned To April 8

Hyderabad, April 3 (Maxim News):  The Nampally court heard the bail petition of Praneeth Rao in the phone tapping case that created a sensation in Telangana.  Police filed a counter on Praneeth Rao’s bail petition, the Court has postponed the further hearing saying that it will hear the arguments on April 8.

On the other hand, the police are interrogating retired ASP Venugopal Rao in the same case.  Investigation is being conducted under the direction of DCP Vijay Kumar of Banjara Hills station and ACP of Jubilee Hills, The number of arrests in this case is likely to increase after the investigation of Venugopal Rao.  It is also known that Bhujanga Rao and Thirupatanna have been remanded till april 6.  Currently, both of them are in Chanchal Guda Jail.

Venugopal Rao worked under the Cyberabad Commissionerate and retired.  Later, Venugopal Rao was appointed as Additional SP (OSD) in SIB by then Intelligence Chief Prabhakar Rao.  Along with Praneet Rao and Radha Kishan Rao, Venugopal Rao also spied on the opposition leaders. (Maxim News)
