Prashant Kishor is my best friend: CM KCR
Making light of Opposition remarks on his meeting with political consultant Prashant Kishor, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday said the former was his best friend for the last seven years and had joined hands to bring about a change in national politics. He wondered why the Opposition parties were scared about their meetings.
Responding to mediapersons at a press meet here, Chandrashekhar Rao said people had a misconception about Prashant Kishor’s commitment to the nation. “Prashant Kishor is working with us and there is nothing to hide. As part of our efforts to bring a change in national politics, he will also work in Telangana which is part of this country. What’s wrong in that (working with him)?” he asked.
The Chief Minister said Prashant Kishor never took money for his work and challenged the Opposition parties to prove their allegations. “Prashant Kishor is not a paid worker. He is adept at gauging people’s pulse. He is a committed man who has worked with various political parties including BJP in 12 States. I invited him to work with us for the nation’s progress. He is doing his bit,” he said, adding the man was being maligned by the opposition for political gains.
