Dr. Balu said the SIT inquiry was being misused by the Congress government to settle political scores. “Just because we exposed the Congress party’s corruption scandals and spoke about the shares and commissions distribution, the government is resorting to political vendetta in the same of SIT,” he said.

Listing several alleged scams, including land, power, Krishna and Godavari rivers diversion, Nallamala Sagar project, and the coal scam in the Congress government, Dr. Balu questioned whether exposing such issues lead to summons for investigations.

Accusing the State government of indulging in diversionary politics over the past two years, Dr. Balu said the SIT notices were issued immediately after the BRS exposed the Congress party’s organised looting. Instead of responding to questions raised by the opposition, the government resorted to arrests and inquiries, he alleged. (Maxim News)
