Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): State government transferred Director General of Prisons Vinay Kumar Singh to Printing & Stationary Department as Commissioner, replacing Tejdeep Kaur Menon. Railway Additional DG Sandeep Shandilya was appointed as in-charge Director General of Prisons.
Vinay Kumar Singh, who was serving as DG of Prisons for the past five years, bought about many reforms in the Telangana prisons. Vinay Kumar Singh was in Bihar on leave. He will return to Hyderabad on Monday. His transfer to an unimportant post was being hotly discussed in the department. (Maxim News)
