Promised Double Bedroom Houses In KCR’s Own Village Chinta Madaka Pending Since 5 Years
Hyderabad, Aug 10 (Maxim News): Minister for Revenue, Housing and Information and Public Relations Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has criticized former Chief Minister KCR’s work as if he had put a canopy over a house where there was only one person. In his native Chinta Madaka village, five years ago, as CM, he said that he would build double-bedroom houses, but all the houses of the poor were demolished and they were left without shelter until now.

He boasted that he would show the direction of the country and criticized him for giving names to the people he was in.
“It was announced on 22nd July 2019 that double-bedroom houses will be built for everyone in Chintamadaka. Believing the announcement made by Elder Saru, the poor people there handed over their houses and huts to the government. They were demolished to make way for double-bedroom houses. According to the announcement of the then Chief Minister KCR, the authorities sanctioned 1909 houses after identifying the beneficiaries.

However, the contractors have contracted only to build 1215 houses. Agreement for 694 houses has not been done, construction work has not started, and only 1103 houses have been completed in four years by December last year. Another 148 houses are under construction at various stages. Around 60 to 70 families lost their houses and huts and ended up on the road as the construction of the houses was not completed.
Many poor people have built huts near the pollangats. And some migrated to other areas. They have been waiting for the house for five years, but… the house is gone, the house is gone, the hut is gone. Although allocated to the beneficiaries, some houses were not handed over. Minimum facilities are not provided to the houses that have been built,” he said.

He criticized that it is the immediate duty of the governments to provide support to the poor, but the previous rulers who ruled this state for nine and a half years neglected this duty and the previous government only used the needs and hopes of the people for their political needs. He said that KCR’s own village Chintamadike is a proof of this.
He said, “Indiramma’s kingdom is not only to give guarantees but also to implement every promise given, especially for the poor, owning a house is a dream… If that is fulfilled, the poor’s house is a festival.” Complete justice will be done to the poor in Indiramma’s kingdom. The ideology of the Congress party is to do good for every person in the state…the goal. Not only in united Andhra Pradesh, but the formation of Telangana state, only the development works and welfare schemes done by the leaders of the Congress government have become cornerstones in the history of the state.

In the previous government, all the BRS leaders built farmhouses and neglected the comforts of the poor, now we are providing housing to them too. This is a people’s government… a government that seeks the welfare of the poor… that’s why we proudly call it Indiramma’s Rajyaam,” he said. He ordered the officials to immediately visit Chintamadaka and take necessary measures for the construction of houses. He suggested that the construction of the houses should be completed as soon as possible without resorting to any rhetoric so that no poor person should suffer in this Indiramma kingdom. (Maxim News)
