Puducherry, Kerala, And Haryana Make Masks Mandatory

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): Corona cases are increasing again in the country for the past few days. This alerted the Central and State governments.

Many states are advising their people to follow the Corona norms (Covid Curbs). In some other states, Corona tests have been made mandatory for International travelers at airports. Recently, three states have issued orders making face masks mandatory in Puducherry, Kerala and Haryana.

Meanwhile, the central government is issuing warnings about the fourth wave of Corona. Mock drills will be conducted across the country on Monday and Tuesday. Thus, the preparedness of corona in government and private hospitals will be examined.

The Haryana government has become alarmed as the Corona cases are increasing day by day, it has been clarified that masks should be worn in public places as precautionary measures. It asked to follow the covid protocol. The Kerala government has suggested that pregnant women, the elderly, and those suffering from chronic diseases must wear masks.

Similarly, the Puducherry government has made it mandatory to wear masks in public places. Staff working in dispensaries, hotels, restaurants, liquor shops, hospitals, government offices, and commercial establishments have also been ordered to wear masks.

The Uttar Pradesh government has issued orders to conduct corona tests for international passengers at all airports in the state. Kerala suggested that the samples should be sent for genome sequencing if they are found to be positive. (Maxim News)
