Hyderabad, March 8 (Maxim News): The Rachakonda Police today celebrated the International Women’s Day-2019 at Infosys, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh M. Bhagwat said as part women safety, Rachakonda SHE teams have succeeded in their job and rescued 54 minor girls from child marriages, 36 girls from Human trafficking in Yadadri zone. He also appreciated the SHE teams for their best performance in women safety. He said the SHE teams of Rachakonda registered a total of 1,899 cases and apprehended 2,272 accused out of 2015 majors and remaining 257 minors.
The CP also said 54 child marriages were stopped by SHE Teams from their child marriages which were planned to perform at different places by their parents mainly from Bhongir and Choutuppal areas. (Maxim News)
