The kitchen drains were missing traps to prevent contamination, while a significant cockroach infestation was noted throughout the kitchen. Additionally, rat feces were discovered in the storage area, indicating a rodent problem.
In Ameerpet, at Taaza Kitchen, the inspection revealed that semi-prepared and raw ingredients, along with food and non-food items, were stored together. Food items in the refrigerators were uncovered and unlabeled, raising concerns over hygiene standards.
A raid was also carried out at Amogha Hotel & Cafe in Ameerpet, where refrigerators were found to be improperly maintained, with uncovered and unlabeled items inside.
Despite multiple raids in recent months at renowned restaurants across Hyderabad, including those in Tolichowki and Ameerpet, numerous violations continue to be uncovered at various eateries, highlighting ongoing concerns about food safety practices.
