Raidurgam Murder For Gain Case Cracked

Hyderabad, Nov. 17: Raidurgam Police arrested four persons on Monday in the Raidurgam murder for gain case that led to the death of 24 year old CCTV technician Saurabh Kumar.

Police acted after a swift probe and gathered clear evidence. Officers said the group planned the attack to rob the victim. They also said the accused carried out the assault in two stages.

The accused first moved through Hitech City, Gachibowli, and Raidurgam on two motorcycles. They looked for people who walked alone.

Then they found Saurabh Kumar near Road No 45 in Jubilee Hills. They offered him a lift. He accepted it. Soon after, they tried to snatch his mobile phone.

An argument followed. Saurabh Kumar defended himself. A small crowd came near them. The accused left the spot. Saurabh Kumar continued his walk home.

Later, the accused met at a restaurant. They spoke about the argument. They planned to attack him again. They followed him through Nandi Hills and BNR Hills. Then they picked up sticks from an under construction site.

They found him near FDDI College. They attacked him with the sticks. They robbed his Vivo phone. They left on their motorcycles.

Raidurgam Murder For Gain Case Cracked

Police received a Dial 100 call. Patrolling teams reached the spot. They shifted Saurabh Kumar to Osmania General Hospital. Doctors treated him in the ICU. He fought for three days. He died on 13 November at 11:04 pm.

Police formed two special teams. Officers tracked the suspects. They arrested them on 17 November. The accused confessed during questioning. 

Police recovered the stolen Vivo phone. Police also seized two motorcycles and four mobile phones. Officers now check their role in other crimes. Police continue the Raidurgam murder for gain investigation and collect more evidence.
