Rain At Many Places In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 11 (Maxim News): Rain lashed several parts of the city on Thursday (September 11) evening. Banjara hills, Jubilee hills, Sheikhpet, Uppal, LB nagar, hayatnagar, Shamirpet and surrounding areas of medchal, medak district, received heavy to very heavy rain in a span of three hours today. 13 cm of very heavy rain fell in a span of three and half hours. Due to this, the roads looked like ponds.

According to the meteorological Department, Rajipalli received 9.2 cm of rain and Pathur 8 cm. heavy water entered low-lying areas in Medak town, Roads flooded Gandhi Nagar Colony, Rainwater entered houses in many areas. All the roads resemble ponds, floodwaters flooded the road from Ram Das Crossing to the new bus stand.

Due to heavy flood water on the Medak-Hyderabad highway, the authorities have removed the divider in the middle with a JCB. Meanwhile, the meteorological department has said that there will be heavy rains in telangana in the next four days. In view of the above situation, the authorities have been alerted. (Maxim News)
