Hyderabad, May 29 (Maxim News): The Meteorological Department has warned that rains will occur in several districts of Telangana till 31st of this month. It said that the southwest monsoon has extended upto Adilabad.
Meanwhile, the cyclonic circulation in the northwest Bay of Bengal has moved almost northwards along the West bengal-Bangladesh coasts at a speed of 20 kmph in the last three hours and has turned into a severe cyclonic circulation. It is currently centered 60 km southeast of Sagar island, 110 km east-southeast of digha and 160 km east of Balasore. It is likely to cross the coast between Sagar Island and Khepupara (Bangladesh) while moving northwards, it said.
It also stated that the trough will continue from southeast Rajasthan, across northwest Bay of bengal, along the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh, and across north Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Ganga and Bengal to the centre of the depression at an altitude of 0.9 km above sea level. In this sequence, it said that the maximum temperatures in the state are likely to be 5 to 7 degrees lower in the next three days.
It warned that heavy rains will occur at places in Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Vikarabad, mahabubnagar, nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts on Thursday. It said that rains will occur at many places across the state on Friday. On Saturday, it warned of scattered rains in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, mahabubabad, Warangal, hanmakonda, jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, kamareddy, mahabubnagar, nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts.

It said that there are indications of rain in Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, medak, kamareddy, mahabubnagar, nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, narayanpet, Jogulamba districts on June 1.
It said that there are indications of rain in Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, medak, kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts on June 2. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the respective districts. (Maxim News)
