Raise Telangana Issues in Parliament Session: CM KCR
Hyderabad, Jan.30 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the MPs to raise Telangana issues in the upcoming budget session of the parliament beginning from January 31.
Chairing a meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on Sunday afternoon, the chief minister instructed its leaders in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha K Keshava Rao and Nama Nageshwar Rao to demand the Centre to give funds and projects to the state.
KCR directed the TRS MPs to follow the party strategy to achieve funds and projects to the state and bifurcation promises.
The TRS MPs will raise the Telangana issues in the parliament and mount pressure on the Centre, KCR learnt to have said in the meeting.
Thus the TRS MPs will raise the state issues in the parliament to begin from Monday, January 31. Telangana Government has been fighting with the Centre on paddy grains, funds and projects for quite some time.
The TRS chief already raised a banner of revolt on the same and instructed Keshava Rao and Nageshwar Rao to fight in the parliament.
KCR wrote a letter to the Centre against the proposed amendments to use services of AIS officials in the states and at national level. The CM has also been asking for budget allocation, funds and projects to the new state which the Centre has been denying. (Maxim News)
