Rajagopal Campaigns For Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy campaigned for his brother and Bhongir MP candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in his constituency.

He also held a meeting of the party workers at Chandoor mandal in the constituency. He commenced the meeting with garlanding a portrait of Babu Jagjeevan Ram on his Jayanti.
Speaking on the occasion, he told the party workers that it would be a history if they ensured victory of his brother from the MP seat. He said Venkat Reddy’s victory would provide an opportunity for him to work with his brother for the development of the constituency. Noting that Venkat Reddy won as MLA for four times and quit his cabinet minister’s post to strengthen Telangana movement, he said nobody thought that he would lose from the Nalgonda Assembly constituency in the last year’s elections.

He also said he had a deep relationship with Munugodu people and the love he received from them could not be bought by money. He said while several senior leaders of the party lost from their seats, he won from his seat, thanks to the love of the people of the constituency.

Targeting Chief Minister KCR, Rajagopal Reddy said the CM had failed to fulfill his promises made to the people. He said the CM brought the Rythu Bandhu scheme in a hurried manner ahead of the Assembly elections and many farmers were yet to get the money under the scheme. He said KCR was able to implement the pension and Rythu Bandhu schemes only due to the formation of the separate Telangana State with Hyderabad as its capital by their leader Sonia Gandhi.

Lashing out at his follower Chirumarti Lingaiah, Rajagopal Reddy said he never thought Lingaiah would turn out to be a traitor. He made it clear that moral values in politics were very important for any leader. He vowed to turn his Munugodu constituency into a model constituency in the State. (Maxim News)
