Rajagopal joined BJP for his selfish motive: Gutha

Nalgonda, August 9 (Maxim News): Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy alleged that Rajagopal Reddy had resigned from his MLA post and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) only for his selfish motive.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Gutha Sukender Reddy said the BJP would always try to create some political unrest when its opposition party was in the government and as part of its plan, the BJP had asked Rajagopal Reddy to resign from the MLA and to go for the election.

In the name of the by-election, the BJP will disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the State and will try to divert the attention of people from the union government’s failures, Gutha said.

He said the people in Telangana are now happy under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the development fruits have reached every section of the society in the State.

Rajagopal’s claim to resign from the MLA post for the development of the Munugodu Assembly is not much convincing. The people are criticizing his act of resigning from the MLA seat and joining the BJP. They are now ready to teach a fitting lesson to him in the ensuing election. The TRS will emerge victorious if the by-elections to Munugodu Assembly are now held, Gutha said.

Stating that he doesn’t have any interest to contest as an MLA on behalf of the TRS party in the Munugodu by-election, Sukender Reddy said that If the party high command would ask him to contest in the election, then he would think over the proposal. (Maxim News)
