Rajagopal’s political career will come to end with Munugodu by-election: Gutha

Nalgonda, Aug.24 (Maxim News): Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy said that there was no chance of winning former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from Munugodu Assembly constituency in the ensuing by-election as the people had already decided to cast vote against him.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Gutha Sukender Reddy said the political career of Rajagopal Reddy would be coming to end with the ensuing by-election and people were not believing the statements of Rajagopal who said that his fight was against the family rule of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his resignation was a weapon for the development of his constituency.

Gutha also suspected the commitment of Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, bother of Rajagopal Reddy, towards the Congress party and said that people were questioning his decision of staying away from the campaign in Munugodu by-election.

“Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is the star campaigner of Congress and he has a responsibility of leading the party. However, staying away from the campaign citing the little reasons will definitely arise doubts in the minds of people. His act appears that Venkat Reddy is indirectly helping his brother Rajagopal Reddy,” Gutha pointed out.

Referring to the allegations against MLC Kavitha linking with the Delhi liquor policy scam, the legislative council chairman said that the BJP government at the Centre was indulging in mudslinging campaign against Kavitha in a bid to malign the image of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
