Rajasthan Royals new official jersey revealed
Rajasthan Royals, an IPL team, introduced the new official jersey for the upcoming season (IPL 2022) of the Indian Premier League on Tuesday (March 15).
The 2022 Royals shirt is inspired by a distinctive Rajasthani pattern known as the ‘Leheriya,’ which translates to ‘wave’ in English. The Rajasthan Royals opted to put this graphic on the jersey, which is a signature of the state’s textile industry, to honour and possibly restore the sector.
In 2021, the Rajasthan Royals collaborated with Red Bull India to put on a magnificent 3D projection and light show at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, revealing their uniform for that season in an innovative fashion.
The Rajasthan Royals will kick off their 2022 season on March 29 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at MCA Stadium in Pune.
