- Ramchandra Rao Alliance stance rules out any tie-ups
- BJP Telangana chief attacks Congress over six guarantees
Telangana BJP President N. Ramchandra Rao has made it clear that the party will not enter into alliances in the state. He said the BJP will contest alone in any election held in Telangana. He firmly stated that there will be no alliance with any party.
Speaking in Jangaon on Sunday, Ramchandra Rao reiterated the BJP’s independent strategy. He emphasized that the party is prepared to face elections on its own strength. Therefore, the statement signals a clear political direction for the BJP in Telangana.
Meanwhile, he sharply criticized the ruling Congress government. He said the government has not fulfilled any of the six guarantees promised to the people. He added that the administration has failed in all aspects across the state. According to him, public dissatisfaction has increased after the Congress came to power.
He also took aim at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said the Chief Minister claimed that six guarantees were implemented while campaigning in Kerala Assembly elections. However, Ramchandra Rao questioned these claims and expressed doubt over their execution.
Further, he alleged that Telangana is being used to fund Congress activities elsewhere. He stated that wherever elections are held in the country, Telangana provides money to the Congress party. He also claimed that corruption has spread widely across the state.
In addition, Ramchandra Rao spoke about national issues. He said people across the world are suffering due to wars. However, he said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, people in the country are peaceful. He also accused the Congress of spreading fake propaganda about shortages of gas and petrol.
He added that there is no shortage in the country. He further stated that there will be no lock-downs or breakdowns. His remarks underline the BJP’s attempt to contrast governance at the state and national levels.
Overall, the statement from Ramchandra Rao sets the tone for future elections in Telangana. It also highlights the party’s strategy to go solo while targeting the ruling Congress on governance and promises.
