Reactor Explosion At Premier Explosives Factory In Telangana: 1 Dead, 8 Injured

Yadadri/Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): A huge explosion occurred in Pedda Kandukur, Yadagirigutta mandal of the district.  A reactor exploded in the company of Premier Explosive.  The reactor exploded with a loud noise, and the workers ran out in fear.

The company management, which was alerted immediately after the reactor exploded, sounded the emergency siren.  The building collapsed due to the accidental blast of explosives.  One worker died in the incident, while seven people were injured. The condition of one of the injured is critical.  The injured were immediately taken to the hospital in 108 and are being treated.  As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and took up rescue operations.  The fire was brought under control.  This morning, an explosion occurred in the Premier Explosive Detonator Plant.  A total of eight workers were seriously injured.  

The injured were taken to Bhuvanagiri Hospital for treatment.  However, the worker Kanakaiah died while receiving treatment.  Another worker, Mogilipaka Prakash, was in critical condition and was immediately taken to a private hospital in Secunderabad.  It seems that a worker has died due to the explosion of this company in the past.  Now, a massive explosion has occurred.  Due to this, the workers ran out of the company fearing for their lives.

Government Whip and MLA Beerla Ilayya inspected the Premier Explosive Limited company where the explosion occurred.  He later said that the explosion incident in the company was unfortunate.  He was angry that the company management was being negligent towards the workers.  He said that even in the past, instructions were given to the company regarding the safety of the workers, but they did not pay attention.  He criticized the company management for acting to make money without caring about the welfare of the workers.  He made it clear that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the incident.  

MLA Beerla Ilayya expressed his anger that if an accident occurs in such a big company, at least the company does not have an ambulance.  (Maxim News)
