Real Battle About To Begin In Telangana: BJP’s BIG Strategy
Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): The real battle is about to begin in Telangana. So far the campaign has been one-sided. Now that the candidates of the main opposition parties have been finalized, the politics of Telangana will be more interesting.
While the ruling BRS party has already announced all its candidates and is rushing into the election campaign, the Congress and the BJP are still stuck with the first list.
Congress released the first list with 55 and the BJP 52 candidates each. However, political analysts say that the reason for the delay in the announcement of opposition party candidates is political strategy. This time, the Congress and BJP, who want to capture power in any way, are preparing strategies to attract the BCs who have a high vote bank in Telangana. It can be said that the BJP focused in a big way on this matter. An example of this is the list of MLA candidates released by the BJP.
BJP’s Central Election Committee has announced 52 names as Telangana MLA candidates. In this list, 19 seats have been allotted mostly to BCs. After that, there are Reddy’s with 12 seats, 8 for SCs, 6 for STs, 5 for Velamas, 1 for Vaishya and 1 for Raja Singh each. Based on this list, it is needless to say how much priority BJP has given to BCs. In this first phase, a total of 12 women have been given an opportunity. (Maxim News)
