Recalling Yeomen Services Rendered By Ex-PM Late Manmohan Singh, Assembly Adjourned Sine-Die

Hyderabad, Dec 30 (Maxim News): The Assembly, which met here on Monday morning, was adjourned sine-die in the afternoon after Members from different parties recalled the yeomen services rendered by former Prime Minister late Manmohan Singh to the nation.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Reanth Reddy had moved the condolence motion in the House.

The House expresses profound grief at the sad demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and conveys a deep sense of sympathy to the members of the bereaved family, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar said.

The House resolves to urge the Union Government to confer the highest civilian honor “Bharat Ratna” on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.  The resolution moved by Chief Minister A  Revanth Reddy was unanimously adopted, the Speaker said and declared that the Assembly was adjourned sine-die.
