Red Alert For Medak And Kamareddy Districts: Heavy To Very Heavy Rains Expected

Hyderabad, Aug 27 (Maxim News): heavy rains are falling across Telangana. Especially in medak and Kamareddy districts, torrential rains are falling. In this context, the Hyderabad meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Medak and Kamareddy districts. It has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in these two districts.

It has said that there will be rains accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds (wind speed 30-40 km per hour). An orange alert has been issued for Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Sangareddy districts. It has been estimated that there is a possibility of heavy rains in these districts too.

It said that there is a possibility of rain at places in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, medchal, malkajgiri, Vikarabad, mahabubnagar, nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

In the wake of the warnings from the Hyderabad meteorological Center, GHMC, HYDRA, Traffic Police have been alerted. People have been advised to be vigilant. People in low-lying areas have been warned to be careful. They have been advised to leave their homes only if it is an emergency. (Maxim News)
