Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 15 (Maxim News): Medak BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has commented that people are facing difficulties due to 22A prohibited lands in Telangana .
He questioned the CM Revanth Reddy government that people thought that there would be a discussion on 22A in the Assembly.. but why did it not happen?
Raghunandan Rao spoke to the media in Delhi today (Tuesday). He mentioned that the 22A Act was brought to prevent the registration of temples, schools, temple lands and government lands.
He criticized Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy for coming to the Assembly unprepared on 22A. He said that it is not right to lump everyone together no matter who speaks about 22A. He said that he spoke because there was a problem with registrations in Symphony Home under his parliamentary constituency.
Minister Ponguleti demanded an answer as to where and in which village the 47440 acres in 22A were removed. He asked why the Congress, which claims to have removed the land included in 22A during the BRS regime, did not take action against those who included it in 22A. He insisted that Ponguleti answer that there is more than one crore acres of land in 22A. How was this much land included? How will it be removed? He demanded an answer as to whether action has been taken against the officials and collectors who have done injustice to the poor. He insisted that he be told when the one crore two lakh acres of land in 22A will be removed. He asked that a committee be formed with the sitting judge of the Telangana High Court to resolve the issue of 22A lands.
He said that Ponguleti admitted that mistakes were made even after the arrival of Bhu Bharati. He insisted that action should be taken against the officials who did injustice to the poor people and committed mistakes. He criticized the people for not having faith in the two parties that brought Dharani and Bhu Bharati.
He demanded that the state government immediately release a white paper on how many assigned lands there are. He asked for a stop to land grabbing. He made it clear that the state government should investigate the cases in the state. There is no need for the center to interfere in everything. He expressed confidence that the BJP will definitely come to power in Telangana. MP Raghunandan Rao said that once the BJP comes to power, there will be no wasting time with committees. (Maxim News)
