Rescue Operations At SLBC Tunnel Intensified

Hyderabad, April 13 (Maxim News): Relief efforts at the SLBC (Srisailam Left Bank Canal) tunnel site have been intensified. Large boulders near the accident location are being broken using excavators and transported out via loco trains.

A high-level review meeting was conducted at the SLBC Tunnel Inlet-1 office in Domalapenta, where progress and strategies for ongoing rescue operations were discussed. Officials reported steady advancement in the search for those trapped.

Key actions underway include conveyor belt repairs, ventilation system extensions, excavation, cutting of TBM components, removal of steel, and pumping out water. Teams are working round the clock with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that rescue operations continue without interruption.
