Residential College Student Ends Life in Mancherial

Mancherial/Hyderabad: Tragedy took place in Mancherial. Prabhas (19), a student staying in Mandamarri SC hostel committed suicide. three days ago, Prabhas who was beaten up by his fellow students for stealing money, went to his hometown and committed suicide.

As a result, the family members staged a dharna on the main road of Mancherial. According to the victim’s family members.

Prabhas, who belongs to Jogapur village of Vennala mandal of Mancherial district, is studying for his degree in Mandamarri SC hostel.

But three days ago (October 2) the money of a fellow student went missing in the room where Prabhas was staying. But Prabhas was beaten by his fellow students saying that he had stolen the money.

Devastated by this, Prabhas went to his own village and committed suicide by drinking insecticide when no one was at home. After this, Prabhas was shifted to Manchiryala Government Hospital.

Prabhas died while undergoing treatment. This casts a shadow of sadness in Prabhas’ hometown.

The family members of Prabhas expressed their grief that the cause of his death was his fellow students and the hostel warden. The family members staged a dharna on the main road of Manchiryala to take action against the warden who was negligent towards the students. (Maxim News)
