Revanth Reddy Accuses BJP And BRS Of Conspiring To Weaken Caste Census Process

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has accused BJP and BRS parties of conspiring to weaken the caste census process. He said that there is a risk of filing cases in the courts over the caste census.

He said that AICC senior leader and MP Rahul Gandhi had promised to conduct a caste census if the Congress comes to power in Telangana.

He said that the weaker sections came forward and formed the Congress government. He said that the BC caste census was conducted to keep the promise made by our leader.

CM Revanth Reddy spoke to the media at Gandhi Bhavan today, he said that former CM KCR conducted a survey in a single day and gave a row’s count. He said that they hid the details without revealing them.

He said that KCR used those details for politics, he said that they conducted the survey with the Planning Department as the nodal agency. He alleged that the comprehensive survey conducted by KCR was a wrong survey.

They were angry that while there are 56 castes among SCs, 86 castes were shown in the comprehensive family survey. He said that some people were making mistakes in the survey they conducted.

He asked them to tell where the mistake was. He said that they conducted the survey carefully without giving them that opportunity. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi claims to be a BC. He demanded that the figures of the BC survey conducted by the Congress in 2011 be revealed.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay demanded that the figures be made public if he has love. He said that the BCs will have to be given a share and that the survey details are not being made public. He said that if this demand comes in every state, the entire country will have to do it.

He said that if the BC figures are made public, it will be a problem for one or two social groups that hold power in the BJP. BRS leaders. KCR, KTR and Harish Rao questioned why their details have not been recorded till now.

He criticized that they are afraid that people who have 50 per cent and those who have half a percent will be questioned. He said that is the reason why they are not cooperating with the BC survey. CM Revanth Reddy said that while KCR calculated the figures in four categories, they have taken details in five categories. (Maxim News)
