Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday made sharp political remarks while also advising KCR to take care of his health. Revanth Reddy said that people will support Congress in Telangana till 2034. At the same time, he offered personal advice to KCR and other BRS leaders.
Revanth Reddy said KCR should maintain his health. He suggested that KCR do a morning walk and evening exercise. He said that he should not be tied up with cot curses. He also stated that BRS leaders should remain healthy for another ten years. For that, they should read books and listen to prophecies.
Revanth Reddy calls for discussion on river waters
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy said that if KCR and Harish Rao come to the Assembly, they should discuss river waters. He advised them not to tarnish Telangana reputation with allegations of cheapness. He also said that if KCR and Harish, who have ten years of experience, give advice and suggestions, they will follow them.
He further questioned why they will cooperate with AP after winning in Telangana. However, he assured that his government will protect water rights in Godavari. He said no one should get tense over the issue.
Congress support till 2034, irrigation projects in focus
Revanth Reddy also stated that even after seeing the verdict of the people from the MP elections to the municipal elections, the BRS style has not changed. Therefore, he expressed confidence that people will continue to support Congress in Telangana till 2034.
He added that although 70 percent of the irrigation projects have been completed, they have been stalled due to lack of funds. However, he said the Godavari watershed projects from Tummidi Hetti to Bhadrachalam will be completed in the next two years. With this, the focus has again shifted to irrigation and river water issues in the state’s political discourse.
