Congress working president and Prajakutami’s candidate for Kodangal Assembly constituency A Revanth Reddy filed the final set of nomination papers with the returning officer in Kodangal on Monday, amid fanfare.
Addressing a large gathering of followers and party workers, he said that Rahul Gandhi had given him the responsibility as Congress’ working president so that the party could win 100 seats in the coming elections and therefore it was necessary for the people of Kodangal to send him to the Assembly victorious again.
