Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy continued his Delhi visit on February 12 and met key Union Ministers to discuss airport and railway projects related to the state. During the meetings, he raised issues concerning Mamunur Airport, Kothagudem Airport, and Antargaon Airport. He also reviewed railway projects with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.
Revanth Reddy seeks nod for Mamunur Airport work
The Chief Minister met Union Minister Rammohan Naidu and appealed to him to take up necessary work for Mamunur Airport in Warangal. He informed the minister that the land acquisition process for Mamunur Airport has been completed. Therefore, he urged the Centre to move forward with the required steps.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also discussed Kothagudem Airport in Palvancha. He said a site has already been identified for the proposed airport. He requested that a survey and feasibility study be conducted at the earliest. He stressed the need for timely action to move the project ahead.
CM Revanth raises Antargaon Airport and railway projects
In addition, Revanth Reddy submitted a request to immediately grant permissions for Antargaon Airport. He informed the Union Minister that an alternative site has been identified in Peddapalli district. Therefore, he sought early approval so that further work can begin without delay.
Later, the Chief Minister met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. During the meeting, he discussed railway projects related to Telangana. However, no further details of the discussions were disclosed in the input.
Revanth Reddy’s Delhi visit continues with a focus on infrastructure development in Telangana. Through these meetings, he highlighted airport proposals in Warangal, Palvancha, and Peddapalli district. He also took up railway projects with the Railway Minister. The outcome of these discussions is yet to be announced.
