Musi Rejuvenation project gets fresh push
The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the land acquisition process at the earliest. He asked them to frame clear guidelines for the land pooling system.
The policy should protect the interests of people who give up their land for the project. It should also ensure that affected landowners receive appropriate compensation and benefits.
Revanth Reddy also directed officials to invite tenders for the Omkareswara Temple at Manchirevula without delay. He asked officials to step up publicity for the Kotwalguda Bird Park.
The Chief Minister further asked municipal commissioners to focus on securing low interest loans for various projects. He also sought clarity on land located within the Full Tank Level and buffer zones along the Musi.
Officials must address the doubts surrounding such lands and issue an official clarification soon, he said.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister ordered officials to complete the process for Phase 2 of the Musi Rejuvenation project quickly. He directed them to invite tenders at the earliest.
He also ordered officials to review the issuance and use of Transferable Development Rights every week. The reviews should focus on preventing delays in project implementation.
