Hyderabad, December 9: Sudeshwari, the widow of Qadir Khan, met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his first public meeting seeking justice for her husband’s alleged wrongful death in police custody.

Qadir Khan was accused of stealing gold chains and died in police custody ten months ago. Sudeshwari hopes that Chief Minister Reddy will keep his promise to investigate the case and bring those responsible to justice.

It is to be mentioned here that the new Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, started a program called “Praja Darbar” at his official home. This program is for the common people to come and speak about their problems. It will happen every Friday.

She had tried to talk to the former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, but he had not seen her. Revanth Reddy promised her to do justice before he became Chief Minister.

Sudeshwari came to Praja Darbar to remind Revanth Reddy of his promise and ask for justice for her husband’s death.
