Revanth Slams KCR For Merging CLP Into TRS

Hyderabad, June 9 (Maxim News): TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday launched a scathing attack against CM KCR for merging CLP into the ruling TRS party.

Addressing the gathering at the Satyagraha Deeksha site, Revanth Reddy wondered as to how the defected MLAs, who openly stated that they changed the party, would become the Congress MLAs. He also wondered whether the Speaker, who considered the defected as Congress MLAs, had checked weather the CLP meeting held by the defected MLAs had permission of the PCC president.

The TPCC working president called upon the family members of Telangana martyrs to think about the status of Telangana their kin achieved by sacrificing their lives. He also alleged that CM KCR had turned into a political terrorist in the State. He said the people had taught a fitting lesson to CM KCR in the recent Lok Sabha elections for encouraging defections of the MLAs. He also pointed out that the TRS party’s votes fell from 95 lakh to 75 lakh in the recent Lok Sabha elections. (Maxim News)
