RMP Doctor Taken into Custody for Lacing Liquor with Poison
Khammam: Police took an RMP doctor into custody for allegedly killing three persons by lacing liquor with poison at Chandru thanda in Tirumalayapalem mandal in the district on Sunday.
According to police, three persons Boda Malsur (55), Boda Haridas (55) and B Bandru (35) died under suspicious circumstances after they consumed liquor at a memorial ceremony on Saturday.
The family members of the deceased lodged a complaint with local police on Sunday alleging that the RMP doctor, Boda Chinna, mixed poison in the liquor to kill three men in order to settle old scores with them.
They also ransacked the residence of the accused leading to tension at the thanda. Police rushed to the thanda and brought the situation under control.
A case against the accused and his father Boda Biksham was booked under IPC Section 302 and other sections and the investigation was on, police said.
