Rohith Reddy Drug Case | Hyderabad, March 18: A new development has emerged in the drug party case involving BRS leader and former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy.
Police registered an attempt to murder case against three accused. The accused include Rohith Reddy, Ritesh Reddy and Namit Sharma.
Meanwhile, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) issued a show cause notice to Rohith Reddy. The party asked him to submit an explanation within seven days.

It also directed him to stay away from party activities until then. Furthermore, the disciplinary committee warned of strict action if he fails to give a satisfactory reply.
The controversy started after allegations surfaced about a drug party. Investigators suspect direct involvement of Rohith Reddy in the event. Therefore, the party leadership acted quickly.
Meanwhile, police named 11 persons as accused in the case. These include Rohith Reddy and TDP Eluru MP Mahesh Kumar. Reports said drug tests showed positive results for Rohith Reddy, Mahesh and four others.
At present, Mahesh remains out on bail. However, police arrested Rohith Reddy and two others. Officers also sent them to jail. Investigators took this step after allegations of firing at a farmhouse surfaced.
Meanwhile, police continue their investigation. Officials are collecting more evidence. Therefore, more details may emerge soon as the probe progresses.
