Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and Khairthabad MLA C Ramachandra Reddy inaugurated the Rose Garden, which has been developed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) at Lakdikapul Junction, on Saturday.
The Deputy Mayor said as per the instructions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the junction, which earlier housed a police outpost, has been developed as a garden.
GHMC developed the garden at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. A parapet was constructed around the garden and for the convenience of visitors, tiled footpath, rose cascade and fountain was constructed with colour lights and the entire area has been beautified with seasonal flowers.
