- Commissioner Sudheer Babu issues directives to strengthen law enforcement
Hyderabad, Nov 6 (Maxim News): Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu has directed all officers under his jurisdiction to maintain constant surveillance on rowdy sheeters and property offenders to prevent criminal activities. The Commissioner emphasized the need for continuous vigilance and accountability at all policing levels to ensure public safety and peace within the commissionerate limits.
During a review meeting on Thursday, the Police Commissioner instructed all zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), Inspectors, and Sub-Inspectors to stay fully informed about the rowdy sheeters under their areas. He said that officers must keep detailed records of their residences, movements, and daily activities to track potential threats and curb any recurrence of unlawful behavior.
Commissioner Sudheer Babu also stressed that strict actions should be taken to prevent rowdy sheeters from engaging in property settlements, anti-social behavior, or activities that could disrupt public peace. He pointed out that timely intervention and preventive policing would help deter habitual offenders from re-entering the criminal network.
In his detailed directive, the Commissioner instructed the Special Operations Team (SOT) and Crime Teams to place all known criminals and suspected anti-social elements under sustained observation. This enhanced surveillance mechanism would help ensure that offenders remain under the radar of the law enforcement machinery.
The initiative aims to reduce incidents of local disturbances and property-related crimes across Rachakonda limits. Senior officials were told to personally review the status of active rowdy sheeters and take appropriate steps where violations are noticed. According to sources, the department intends to tighten monitoring through coordinated field intelligence, community feedback, and real-time reporting from police stations.
The Commissioner reiterated the department’s zero-tolerance stance toward criminal elements and assured that continued efforts are being made to build a safer urban environment. He urged all officers to maintain professionalism, alertness, and quick response mechanisms to uphold law and order effectively.
