Rs. 10 Lacs Withdrawn From A Dead Man Account 

Hyderabad, Sept 17 (Maxim News): An incident of stealing Rs. 10 lakhs in ten days took place in Banjara Hills Police Station limits along with ATM card and chequebook belonging to a dead old man.  

Going to the details, an old man named Avanathula Rajamouli (75) residing in Singadakunta Shantikutier apartment in Banjara Hills Road No. 10 died of illness on September 4.  His last rites were completed on the same day.  

His wife Sulochana and sons staying in America have come here for Rajamouli’s last rites.  meanwhile, as Rajamouli had an account in the SBI branch in Panjagutta, the sons went to the bank on September 14 with the intention of transferring the money in the bank account to the name of the nominated mother after his death. After talking to the bank manager and examining the statements, a shocking thing came out.  From September 4 to 14, money was transferred from Rajamouli’s bank account to the names of many people, and heavy shopping was done in Paytm, Amazon, Flipkart, and other companies.  (Maxim News)
