Rs. 14.66 Crores Seized In Hyderabad District So Far: Ronald Rose 

Hyderabad, April 22 (Maxim News): Hyderabad district election Officer and GHMC Commissioner, Ronald Rose said so far since the Election code of conduct has come into force Rs. 14,66,89,405 cash 20,955.15 liters of illegal liquor and other goods worth Rs 91,14,291 were seized. He said that cases have been registered against 210 people arrested.

433 complaints regarding cash and other items related to elections were resolved, FIRs were registered against 287 people, and 2,922 were licensed.

He said that goods worth Rs.23,473/- were caught and seized in the last 24 hours,  It is claimed that 34.24 liters of illegal liquor have been seized by the Excise Department, two cases have been registered and four persons have been arrested. He said that when 4 complaints were received regarding cash and other items, they were resolved and 3 FIRs were registered. He said that two licensed weapons were deposited.

Since the release of the election schedule till now, flying squad teams have collected Rs. 3,26,69,235/-, Rs.11,24,40,480/- by Police, IT Department, He said that Rs.15,79,690/- cash was seized by SST teams. (Maxim News)
