Rs.14,31,65,540/- Cash Seized In Hyderabad District So Far: Ronald Rose

*Hyderabad, April 17: (Maxim News): So far Rs.14,31,65,540 cash and other goods worth Rs.2,00,13, 088 and 20,441.89 liters of illegal liquor have been seized by various enforcement teams in the district, This was informed by District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose.

He said that cases have been registered against 185 people and 181 people have been arrested. Ronald Rose said that 383 complaints regarding election-related cash and other items were resolved, FIRs were registered against 251 persons, and 2,842 licensed firearms were deposited.

He said that while 5 complaints were received on MCC violations, action was taken against 5 of them.

In the last 24 hours, Rs. 28,28,000 cash and goods worth Rs.4,72,161 were caught and seized. It is stated that 243.61 liters of illegal liquor have been seized by the Excise Department, 8 cases have been registered and 12 people have been arrested. He said that 19 complaints against cash and other items were resolved and 14 FIRs were registered. He said that 52 licensed weapons had been deposited.

Since the release of the election schedule till now, flying squad teams have collected Rs. 3,06,54,220/-, Rs.11,09,31,630/- by Police, IT Department, He said that Rs.15,79,690 cash was seized by SST teams. (Maxim News)
