Rs. 2,500 Crore Drug Racket: Links From Hyderabad To Dubai
Hyderabad, Sept 7 (Maxim News) The investigation undertaken by the Narcotics Control Bureau has uncovered a drug racket with a huge network. Luxurious life, expensive cars, villas, and links with Dubai have been revealed in this case. The authorities have identified Pawan Thakur, the main accused in this drug racket, as operating from Dubai. The NCB has also issued an International Silver Notice against him.
This drug racket has also shaken financial criminals, politicians and film personalities. As part of the investigation, the authorities have seized some high-end luxury cars, as well as a villa on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The value of this villa is estimated to be around Rs. 50 crore. It is reported that rave parties were often organized in this villa, in which many people from the upper classes participated. Pawan Thakur is not only involved in drugs but also in hawala and money laundering cases.

The NCB is coordinating with international agencies to nab the Dubai-based mastermind of the racket. Investigations have revealed that he was importing drugs from abroad and supplying them to various cities in India, especially Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore. The officials have also found that he was investing the money earned from drug sales in real estate and other businesses in Dubai.
NCB officials have revealed that there are many more prominent people involved in this case and more arrests are likely to be made soon. This huge drug racket is not only destroying the future of the country’s youth but is also causing huge damage to the country’s economy. People are demanding that the investigation into this case be expedited and the culprits be given strict punishment. Officials said that more details in this case will be revealed soon. (Maxim News)
